What Makes our CSA Unique?

Our pricing. We’re a nonprofit CSA, run by a volunteer board of directors, on land we lease from the Town of Granby. Our mission is to utilize preserved farmland for the benefit of the community. This means our overhead is low and our prices are fair. Learn more about our nonprofit status

We grow CLEAN food. No pesticides. No chemicals. Not even the ones that are approved for organic use. We feel strongly about this. Learn more about our growing methods

We are a year-round CSA, offering both Summer and Winter Shares.

We are one of the larger CSAs in Connecticut, with 25 cultivated acres – which means we are able to offer a larger variety of crops than many other CSAs can. Click here for a list of the 200 crop varieties we grow, including vegetables, gourds, berries, flowers, and herbs.

We provide one-stop shopping for local foods. In our Farm Store, we stock grass-fed meat, free-range chicken, cheeses, breads, eggs, ice cream, fruit, honey, jams and jellies, sauces, pickled veggies, soaps, and more – all produced by local farmers.

We are dedicated to the community. Proof of this can be seen in our Fresh Access program, through which we donate 6 tons of produce annually to families experiencing a financial or health crisis. Click here to learn more.

This is not just a place to buy vegetables. When you join our CSA, you join the Holcomb Farm Family. Throughout the year, we host events (cooking demos, canning classes, snowshoe hikes) for adults and children. We also have a network of marked trails that extends throughout our property. (Check out our trail map.) We hope you’ll enjoy all Holcomb Farm has to offer.
