Holcomb Farm has the following job opportunities open for the 2019 season:

Full Time Crew Members
We are looking for a select group of responsible, hard-working, and enthusiastic people to join our farm crew. Each member of our crew will play a critical role in the production, harvest and distribution of crops, and will be expected to take on individual responsibilities within the structure of the farm team. Previous experience in farming or similar work outdoors is preferred but not necessary to be considered for this position.  Individuals must have the ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably and regularly, and work outdoors regardless of the weather. Compensation includes $10.50/hr, option to a private room in the farm house for $225/month (utilities included), workers compensation, on-farm produce, and a discount on farm store products.  The work schedule will vary according to the time of year and weather, but the crew can expect to work 7am to 5pm Monday through Saturday at the height of the season, with shorter work days in the spring and fall. We also plan for periodic vacation days for all crew members to give a break from the demanding schedule. Most positions will run from the beginning of April until mid-November.

Available Workshare Positions
In exchange for 65 hours of work at the farm, our Workshares receive a CSA Share (a 20- week season of fresh chemical-free produce for the value of $625.) Workshare positions are considered as important as our employees and are held up to the same standards. We only accept Workshares who offer certain skill sets needed on the farm.
