DESCRIPTION:May 17th and 24th from 12-1:30pm (during our Spring Seedling Sale Weekends!) \nGrow your own delicious shiitake mushrooms! Instructor Andy Griffin will teach you how to prepare a hardwood log and inoculate it with live shiitake spores. Fee for class and supplies: $40. We also will have inoculated logs for sale. \nProceeds benefit Fresh Access\, to help fight food insecurity in Connecticut. Space is limited\, so please register early! \n These workshops will be held in our CSA Barn\, in conjunction with our Spring Seedling Sales.
