DESCRIPTION:Meet at farmhouse parking lot located at 113 Simsbury Road\nRain date: April 28\n\nJoin Holcomb Tree Trail volunteers—who are also UConn Master Gardeners—as they demonstrate how to plant a tree and give tips on how to keep it alive and thriving. They will provide a brief history of Arbor Day\, the importance of trees\, and then get into the details of tree planting: explaining how to dig a proper-sized hole\, watering\, animal protection\, mulching\, and answer all your tree-related questions. Join us for this free\, any-age educational event. Meet at the farmhouse parking lot and the group will walk to the planting site\, about 1/4 mile walk. (No dogs please.)
