SUMMARY:America 250 State Tree Scavenger Hunt at the Holcomb Tree Trail 
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday June 27 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for the kick-off of our America 250 State Tree Scavenger Hunt. We have labeled 13 trees with America 250 tags. These are the official state trees of the 13 original colonies. Stop by the Holcomb Farm main complex and pick up a scavenger hunt map (or print one out HERE and then go across to the Holcomb Tree Trail to find the trees. Kids who locate all 13 trees will receive a free Betsy Ross flag. \nIf you are unable to attend on June 27\, we will continue to have this activity available through July 4th (or while supplies last). After June 27\, Scavenger Hunt maps will be available at the new Holcomb Farm CSA & Farm Store located at 87 Simsbury Road. Farm Store staff will be have flags for kids who have completed the scavenger hunt. (This event brought to you in partnership with the Granby America 250 Committee.)

Some of the vendors who will we there with us include: \n\nSarah Rose with Samad Gardens Initiative – loose leaf teas\nPete with Sepe Farm – “Meet Sepe Farm” informational table\nKelley with Howling Flats Farm – livestock/meat\nAubrey with Granby Wildflower Meadow – information table\nGilman with Alba Flower Apiaries – honey\nAndy with RMS Growers – shiitake mushrooms\n\nSchedule \n10 am: CSA pick up & Farm Store is open for fresh veg\, local products\, and to meet your farmers and producers. Learn more about who produces your food 10 am to 2 pm! \n11 am: Tour with Farm Manager Joe.
