A Message from Our Board of Directors

As COVID-19 continues to affect our lives, we want to assure you that the Friends of Holcomb Farm is firmly committed to the health and safety of our farm staff; our members; our CSA shareholders and customers; our Fresh Access constituents; and to serving our community. We are closely monitoring the changing situation and complying with public health guidance. For a more detailed update on the CSA's response to the Coronavirus and Farmer Joe's perspective on things, click here.

As social service agencies continue to face increased demand due to the impact of the virus, the Friends of Holcomb Farm continues to do our best to fight food insecurity and keep our neighbors healthy by providing our partners with fresh produce through Fresh Access. Our community partners include: the Town of Granby Senior Center, the Wheeler Clinic, the Hispanic Health Council, and the Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen. In addition, we will continue to provide produce to the Healing Meals Community Project, so that they can provide healthy meals to people in a health crisis. Now, more than ever, it’s important we come together to support one another (while staying apart). If you’re looking for a way to help someone in need during this difficult time, please consider supporting our Fresh Access program.

One other note: just as our fresh veggies can feed your body, our land can feed your soul. Our trails are open, as always, and we encourage you to get outside and enjoy the peace and beauty of this incredible place. Please keep dogs leashed and, of course, please practice social distancing. For an update from our trail crew, click here.

We hope that you and yours stay healthy and happy. We intend to communicate regularly, as needed, to keep you up to date with any developments, and so that you can continue to benefit from what Holcomb Farm has to offer. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@holcombfarm.com. We very much look forward to seeing you on the farm.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors of the Friends of Holcomb Farm
