The Friends of Holcomb Farm offer an exciting array of programs and events throughout the year—from guided hikes on the Holcomb Tree Trail to seasonal plant sales, cooking demonstrations, gardening workshops, pop-up veggie sales, educational talks, yoga, and more. Beloved traditions like our annual Holcomb Hoedown and Harvest Celebration bring the community together, and we’re always offering exciting new programs. Friends of Holcomb Farm Annual Meeting
Please join us for the 30th Meeting of the members of the Friends of Holcomb Farm.
Gather with friends. Enter our pie baking contest. Learn about permanent preservation of the farm and hear updates on the state of the farm and its programs. Elect the 2023-24 Board of Directors.
Though we enjoyed hosting our annual meetings outdoors on the Tree Trail, we are looking forward to meeting this year inside the North Barn. There will be no worries about rain or excessive heat—and we can hold our pie baking contest once again!
Join us to hear reports from the Friends’ board of directors and Farmer Joe and to have your questions answered. Stay with us after the meeting to enjoy pie and other desserts and to socialize.
If you’d like to enter the pie contest, bring your best pie! (You certainly do NOT have to bring a pie.) Judges will award prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The North Barn is located at the main Holcomb Farm Complex (113 Simsbury Road).
