The Friends of Holcomb Farm will be hosting a series of special events at Holcomb Farm to celebrate our 30th anniversary and to draw more people to the Farm, with the goal of publicizing the important work we do and generating increased community support for it. The celebration will culminate in a Celebration 30 harvest dinner in October.
We Need Your Help!
We hope you will join us as a partner in this important effort! Funds raised will offset the costs of a series of events that will be open to the public. Guests will include residents of Granby, the Farmington Valley, and the Greater Hartford Region, including past and present Friends of Holcomb Farm volunteers and Town of Granby leaders.
Why Partner with the Friends of Holcomb Farm (FOHF)?
As a sponsor of our 30th Anniversary Celebration, your company will receive visibility through our marketing and promotional efforts, including event signage, social media campaigns, press releases, advertising, Granby Drummer articles, our newsletter, which is distributed to more than 2,100 people monthly, and our website. Perhaps more importantly, the Friends of Holcomb Farm is a cause you can feel good about supporting. Your involvement will be recognized and appreciated by the community.

The Friends of Holcomb Farm
The mission of the Friends of Holcomb Farm is to preserve, promote and utilize an historic working New England farm. Specifically, we:
- manage a 312-acre working farm that is a symbol of Granby’s agricultural history
- grow nutrient-dense produce, without using chemical pesticides, for more than 500 CSA members and Farm Store customers annually
- fight food insecurity by providing fresh produce to more than 500 households a week in Granby, Hartford, New Britain, Plainville, Bristol, Waterbury, and beyond
- maintain 10+ miles of trails for all who care to enjoy them
- install and care for our Tree Trail arboretum
- advocate for all local farms and include their products in our store
- offer one-stop-shopping for local products
- promote the health and economic benefits of "eating local"
- host programs that promote healthy living, conservationism and connecting with the land.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Friends of Holcomb Farm receives no subsidy from the Town of Granby. It is only with the support of our friends and neighbors that we can achieve our goals.
Please help keep this historic New England farm alive and thriving. Support the Friends of Holcomb Farm today. Thank you!
